Analee Paz is a Latinx designer and educator raised and based on the border between the United States and Mexico. With a sensibility for duality, juxtaposition, craft, and a solid homemade tortilla, her ongoing research explores the intricacies of identity formation with a particular focus on communication design and education. Paz’s internationally-recognized practice includes teaching, publication, and brand identity design, and has been featured in publications such as Communication Arts, Graphic Design USA, LogoLounge, International Creative Media Awards, Graphis Inc, and The International Journal of Design Education. She wholeheartedly believes in the never-ending search for authentic identities and the uniqueness, empathy, value, and creativity that flows through them. When she’s not clicking behind a computer screen, she can be found hopping on a plane looking forward to her next venture.

Analee Paz is an Assistant Professor of Digital Media and Graphic Design in the Departments of Communication and Visual Arts at Texas A&M International University. She lives and works in Laredo, Texas.
