BRAND/IDENTITY
Design for Walls, Bridges, Borders: International Association of Inter-American Studies Sixth Biennial Conference. 

The design is an interpretation of icons that represent a wall, bridge, and a border. A challenge in creating this typographic brand was that it should also adapt to Spanish-bilingual terminology and letterform: Muros, Puentes,Fronteras: Asociación de Estudios Interamericanos. The result is a marriage between iconic signs and symbolic signs. The color scheme is an adaptation of water and land since they are the primary resources of the environment that play a role in migration, an important topic to the conference
